Sorry, we haven't got around to adding the necessary link to the Sufi Reflections Podcast Blog page. You can download the latest podcast by going to:
http://spiritual-health.org/podcasting.htm
and signing up through the RSS feed url which is given on the left-hand side of the page, or you can go over to the right-hand side of the same web page and click on the link at the bottom of the right most column.
On this page you can either: (1) choose the link at the bottom of the middle column -- which will take you to a web page that lists the available podcasts and select number 34 on this latter web page, and this will take you to a page where you can download the newest podcast; or, (2) you can choose #34 at the bottom of the 3rd column (the right most column), and this will take you to a page with the streaming audio version of #34 which you can listen to but cannot download.
Hopefully, later today (Thursday), I'll have had time to add the proper link to this Blog page and make everything easier for you and anyone else who needs the link.
I write to thank you deeply for all the work you are doing. I listen to the Sufi Reflections Podcast during my walks and enjoy the clarity of your communication, your thoughtful presentation of the variety of material and the thought provoking depth of your analyses. Very frequently, I encounter in what you are presenting an answer to a question that I have been asking, a more complete way of understanding an issue... so that by the end of the walk, I come back enriched in ways that I recognize directly and also, I am sure of that, in ways that I do not immediately recognize. I am very happy to see that you are including the Qur'an even more prominently in these podcasts ( May I ask you please to include the name of the Surah and the reciter at the end of the recitation?)
May Allah swt reward you with His generosity and continue to bless you in your efforts.
Your suggestion about stating the name of the reciter and the portion of the Qur'an which is being recited is a good one, and, insha' Allah, I will try to incorporate this in the future ... although the reciter is always the same.
I am happy there are aspects of the podcast which you find to be of value. We all are just different tools of communication through which God interacts with us ... spiritual messages coming from every direction if we are receptive to what is being transmitted and use the faculties which Allah has given us to reflect on such communiques in order to be able to separate the wheat (the truth) from the chaff (that which comes from the nafs).
I was born in Denver, Colorado, but I grew up in various locations in Maine. I went to high school in Mattawamkeag, Maine where there were eleven kids in my graduating class and 44 students in the high school as a whole. Somehow, I ended up going to Harvard University. I believe a mistake was made and the Harvard Medical school wanted me for experiments they were conducting, but, mysteriously, my name showed up on the desk of someone in admissions for the Collge instead. I majored in Social Relations, which is an interdisciplinary area of study combining psychology, sociology, and anthropology. I did graduate work in educational theory at the University of Toronto. Eventually, they let me leave with a doctorate. I became interested in mysticism around 1970. After spending a little time with a Gurdjieff group, I stepped onto the Sufi Path, and, in the process became a Muslim.

Dear Sufiyya,
As-Salaam-u-'alaykum!

Bilquees sends her Salaams.
